The 32 kilometre MegaMuffin run is a 4-8 hour run/power hike including 21 kilometre of technical singletrack with about 1200 metres of ascent and descent, plus 11km of flat rail trail running. It is a very physically demanding course.
There are no aid stations on the course.
Cutoff is at 1:00 pm at the 18km point, at the entrance to North Ridge (following the first South Ridge loop) . That is approximately an average pace of 13 minutes per kilometre. The cutoff is to keep the event in daylight hours. Sunset is 5 pm on November 24.

Registration is at the event between 7:30 and 8:30 on November 24. Start time is 9 a.m. Cost is $20 cash. All proceeds go to Musquodoboit Trailways association.
There is a waiver to sign at the time of registration.
